We’ll share a conversation together this week about the often experienced part of a spiritual journey — wandering in the wilderness. Are you a wilderness wanderer? Perhaps you’ve found yourself in the out crowd, or not getting what you need from the traditional religious tools, or your once cherished beliefs. What does one do then? As you wander in the wilderness do you find that false views of yourself get burned away, such as the view that you are what you do? In the wilderness can your false views of God change, such as from one who loves to one who is love? When all false views are stripped away, what truths emerge from within you, and how are you changed? How do you endure the pain of wandering in the wilderness, and how do we help each other through it? What role can community play in this? What can quiet space, or meditation do to help? Let’s share a spiritual conversation on this subject, and hear your stories of your walk with God this week. What is stirring in your heart?
